Nabula not working and not charging.
Problem is around the positive connection between the DC power soquet and the top circuit board.
Solution : After taking care of any electrical choc ane electronic static discharge.
Lift the top cover and detatch the cable attatch to the top electonic board. Take a pictute of the top electronique board.
Unplug all connectors arriving to the top électronic board, unscrew the 4 screws fixing the top electronic board, remove the board.
Add a wire 26 AWG between the DC Input on the CI board verso (see added red wire on above picture CI) and the Positive pin from the back of the DC input connector just above the IC recto. the wire should be routed in order to pass on the side of the CI board.
Reassemble following the above step in the reverse order.
The Nebula is now charging but don’t start when you move the objectif cover down.
Actions :
Lift the top cover and detatch the cable attatch to the top electonic board. Take a pictute of the top electronique board.
Unplug all connectors arriving to the top électronic board, unscrew the 4 screws fixing the top électronic board, remove the board, take a picture to record cables route and lift up remove the fan.
Unscrew the 4 screws fixing the projector subsystem to the frame (around each corner of the metal plate.
Lift up the the projector subsystem.
Remove the 4 screws fixing the speakers system to the frame and lift up the speakers system.
Remove the 4 screws fixing the frame to teh base and lift up the frame (can be some résistance due to battery aderance.
Remove the contact subassemly and verify if the contact swith is operation when moving manualy the switch finger. If OK verify ig the switck is prerating properly when moving up and down the objectif cover. In my case this step don’t work and I add a drop of glue on top of the swith finger in order to allow the swith finger to be properly touch by the objectif cover and have the switch contact operate properly. wait some days to allow the glue to dry properly and verify the functionality of the switch under the objectif cover movement.
Reassemble following the above step in the reverse order.
Let me know if this procedure help and if you have suggestions.
