Bose Soundlink Revolve AUX/USB Port repair

Step 1

Remove the AUX/USB Port from BOSE Soundlink Revolve. Use the procedure provided by fixit.com

Step 2

Having the AUX/USB Port in hand start to remove the back connector cover by pre-cutting the seal that connect the cover with his frame (below picture bleue arrow). when done insert a small screw driver (below picture red arrow). repeat on the other side until the cover lift.

Step 3

Pre-cutting the seal that connect the connector to the frame (below picture bleue arrow).

From the face push the micro USB in order to breake the seal.

Step 4

Insert the new flat micro USB b connector paying attention to the correct orientation. make the connection between the new micro USB connector using small piece of wire after having cut the old connector in order to prevent short circuit.

Step 5

Test properly the new connection between the USB connector and the board using the BOSE USB charger cable.

Step 6

When all test are passed glue the rear of the micro USB connector to the frame. Wait the glue to be fully dry and test introduction on the micro USB male connector to the Bosch Art -23 female just unstalled connector.

Step 7

Glue the cover to the frame and wait the glue to be fully dry.

Step 8

Reinstall the AUX/USB Port to the BOSE Soundlink Revolve. Refer to the procedure provided by fixit.com
